Jannie Funster

Jannie asked on my DiSemblance Blog:

…Will you let me have lunch with you the day you come to OUR Borders for your book signing? Or better yet, cocktails with other Austin Illuminati later?

Jannie, once I am published, that would be my honor.

Thank you for believing in me!

Katherine Krige @ A New Day

Katherine asked on my DiSemblance blog,

Do all of your excerpts come from the same book? It sounds like quite the piece of fiction you’ve got cooking up. I love how you can leave them with such cliff-hangers!

Thanks for asking, Katherine,

All of my excerpts come from the same book. I am glad that you appreciate the teasers and hope that you will read the book once it gets published!

Brian Miller from WaystationOne

Here’s a question from a comment on my DiSemblance blog .

Brian Miller asked:

Okay so maybe a stupid question, but you have written this and are trying to get it published or is it already published?

Great question Brian,

I have written that novel, but it is not published yet because I do not want to self publish. I am hoping to catch the eye of a large publishing house.

HOOOOOOOOO ARE YOU?

While I am waiting to get to the point in my career where people are asking me questions, I will take as many opportunities to get to know as many people as I can. So here I go. I am going to have lots of fun playing link up games.  I hope to meet as many interesting people as I can.

Here are my answers for this week:

1. Are you a mom and if so how many kids do you have? I have six children from the ages 20-10.

2. List 3 qualities that you love about your mom! She was honest, had tons of faith and believed in her children no matter what! (She died 22 years ago.)

3. What is your favorite thing your mother cooks? This might be sad, but she hated to cook and the only thing I can remember her cooking was Kraft macaroni & cheese from a box.

4. What do you love about being a mom? I love watching my children grow up. It never ceases to amaze me that I birthed these amazing people.

5. What are your plans for Mother’s day? I plan on letting my family serve me. I’m not even going to lift a finger!

The three words to play with this week are:  Cleanse — Knead — Melt. For fun, I will use them in my answer.

Pitbull Dog Training asked,

What is your current project?

I am currently writing a young adult espionage thriller.  In order to cleanse herself of anger, the main character, Ryland MacGreggor plans the ultimate revenge on her father — a retired spy.  Instead of melting her heart, her spiteful plot blows her heart apart when it leads to a fatal consequence.  No amount of kneading will ever massage her heart back into “beating” its original rhythm as she struggles to make things right.

For fun, I have already started blogging about this project, which I call Fatal Tryst.

Bryson asked:

Is DiSemblance really any good?

Hi Bryson,

I have to say, “Yes”…out of the 12 test readers who recently read the novel — all 12 loved it. I posted most of their comments on a “Test Reader” post on the blog about my book, DiSemblance.
